Prices, Payment & Cancellation

Q: Do the prices on the website include tickets, taxes & fees?

A: Yes. No additional costs to online prices.

Q: Do we have to purchase any extra tickets ourselves?

A: No, we pre-purchase all tickets for any tour that we offer.

Q: Do your guides speak English?

A: Yes. Some of them native English, but all fluent English.

Q: What is your payment policy?

A: We ask for 100% payment upon confirmation.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?

A: The Paris Guy offers full refunds on cancellations made more than 72 hours prior to your tour taking place. Cancellations within 72 hours of your tour taking place cannot be refunded, but we will do our very best to accommodate you on another tour or date, pending availability.

Q: Do you conduct tours in the rain?

A: Yes. Rain or shine.

Tour Specific

Q: Do we have to pay extra to go into the gardens of Versailles?

A: No, the gardens are free except when there are fountain shows. In that case, the ticket is included.

Q: Is Versailles in Paris?

A: No. Versailles is about a 40 minute train ride, outside the city of Paris.

Q: Is there a bathroom break during the Versailles Tour.

A:  Yes, we will offer a bathroom break once we arrive in Versailles.

Q: How long do we spend actually inside the Catacombs?

A: You will spend 1.5 hours inside of the Catacombs

Q: Are the Paris Catacombs underground?

A: Yes, the Paris Catacombs are underground.

Q: Are the Catacombs cold?

A: Since you are far below ground, the temperature is a constant 57 degrees F. ( 14 C). We therefore recommend bringing a sweater or light jacket while inside.

Q: Are there toilets at the Catacombs?

A:  No, once you descend there are no bathrooms. Your guide will let you know where you can go to the toilet before the tour begins.

Q: Will we see the Mona Lisa in the Louvre?

A: Yes, you will definitely see the Mona Lisa. You’ll also get a great explanation about the painting

Q: The Louvre tour is 3 hours. Is there a bathroom break?

A: Yes. During your Louvre tour, your guide will leave time for a short bathroom break.

Mobility

Q: I have trouble walking. Can I still do the small group tour?

A: Out of respect for others on the tour, we highly recommend anyone who has trouble walking or that needs a wheelchair to book a private tour.

Q: Can I join the Paris Catacombs tour if I am in a wheelchair.

A: No. Due to the fact that you need to walk down 130 steps, there is no access for people in wheelchairs or with limited mobility.

 

General

Q: Do you offer tours in other cities in France or just Paris?

A: At the moment we offer small group tours only in Paris, but we offer private tours in other cities. Please contact us directly to know more.

Q: Do we get skip the line access for all tours

A: Yes. Due to new security regulations, there could be a bit of a security line, but not much.
